How Tax Spending Affects the State of the Nation

Why do we pay tax, where does our tax money go? Governments are tasked with returning our hard earned money to us in the form of service delivery and social services. Failure to do so adequately, results in dissatisfaction and lost confidence by the people who elected them to lead.
